
For some of us getting co-operation from others is an uphill battle, we are constantly faced with reluctance, excuses and negativity.
However some people seem to have a gift for getting the help, co-operation and commitment of others, without resorting to any formal authority.
This course aims to help you develop skills as an influencer and in doing so establish postive relationships with customer and colleagues, setting the scene for future co-operation.
Learning outcomes
• Define the use of Positional / Personal power and influencing behaviours as methods of influence and devise a personal strategy for when they will use them.
• Assess their current level of influencing skill and assertiveness to determine current and ongoing development needs.
• Identify how communication skills can influence people‘s behaviour to see your point of view and enable you help others develop their ideas.
• Practise techniques which promote rapport
• Determine how to grow and maintain value adding relationships with colleagues and customers
• Demonstrate how to achieve agreeable outcomes where there is the potential for disagreement.
• Action Plan how they will add value to their customers and what will be the success indicators
